An Infrastructure Engineer turned DevOps Engineer with a passion for automating everything

I'm a DevOps Lead and Consultant.
Having more than 12 years of experience in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, DevOps Transformation and Experienced with Cloud Native Technologies. Moreover, before joining BDC, spent 10 years in information technology roles in a multinational companies.

Almost 4 years of experience in DevOps and focused on Automation of Build, Deployment, Environment Management areas by implementing CI/CD pipelines to help teams deliver a better, reliable and Production environments.

Back in 2020, I joined Banque Du Caire in Egypt as a Senior DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer and worked very hard on revamping and modernizing BDC’s IT infrastructure then joined the digital factory as one of the leaders of BDC’s digital transformation journey.

Results-driven innovative and versatile technical professional with extensive technology enthusiasm and cross-cultural diversity. I am also an Architect who can design and implement with 12 years worth of experience in information technology, and I am fortunate enough to love what I do.

My areas of expertise in Cloud Platforms (Azure and AWS), DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform and Ansible), CICD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab and GitHub Actions), Monitoring (Promesues/Grafana and Azure App Insights), Logging (ELK/EFK Stack), Messaging (RabbitMQ and Azure EventHub), Linux Systems, Microsoft Infrastructure, VMWare vSphere and others.
